Friedrich Dürrenmatt hat zum Thema Fotografieren und Kunst gesagt:
„Jeder kann knipsen. Auch ein Automat. Aber nicht jeder kann beobachten. Photographieren ist nur insofern Kunst, als sich seiner die Kunst des Beobachtens bedient. Beobachten ist ein elementar dichterischer Vorgang. Auch die Wirklichkeit muss geformt werden, will man sie zum Sprechen bringen.“
Die Kunst des Fotografen ist also seine Fähigkeit zu beobachten, zu sehen und zu erkennen. Ganz sicher spielt es eine Rolle, was er dabei fühlt und empfindet. Das Motiv im Zentrum der Aufmerksamkeit und des Interesses.
Die Wirklichkeit muss geformt werden, will man sie zum Sprechen bringen. Eine Interpretation also, um eine Geschichte zu erzählen, seine Gefühle und Empfindungen in einem Bild zum Ausdruck zu bringen.
So beobachte ich, mit all meinen Sinnen und forme nach meinen Empfindungen. Ob meine Bilder auch sprechen, obliegt der Beurteilung durch den Betrachter.
Meine Schwerpunkte sind die Architektur- und Objektfotografie in Verbindung mit dem jeweiligen historischen Hintergrund und der Bedeutung ihrer Zeit sowie die Naturfotografie, als Inbegriff des Wesentlichen und die Grundlage unseres Daseins.This is what Friedrich Dürrenmatt said about photography and art:

The art of the photographer is therefore its ability to observe, to see and to recognize. In doing so, his feelings and sensations certainly are of importance. The motive in the center of attention and interest.
Reality must be modeled, if you want it to speak. An interpretation then, to tell a story, to express ones feelings and sensations in a picture.
So I observe, with all of my senses, shaping the reality depending on my perceptions. It falls to the observer, if my pictures are speaking too.
My main focuses are on architectural and objective photographing in conjunction with the respective historical background and the importance of their time as well as the photography of nature, which epitomizes the essence of all being.
