Fotos erzählen Geschichten! Fotos erfassen in zwei Dimensionen das Wesentliche einer Situation! Fotos schärfen unsere Sinne! Fotos sind einfach Balsam für die Seele :o)!
Unsere Tierbilder entstehen fast ausschließlich in Zoos, Tier- und Wildparks, wobei wir neben den meisten deutschen Zoos auch Zoos in den Niederlanden, Belgien, Österreich (Wien) und Tschechien (Prag) besucht haben.
Die Flora und Fauna hat uns schon immer interessiert. Unsere Liebe zu Tieren ist im Laufe der Jahre durch die Fotografie sehr gewachsen. Unsere Lieblingstiere sind vor allem Affen, speziell Menschenaffen, aber auch Raubkatzen. Leider sind viele Arten durch Raubbau und andere ökologische Verbrechen in ihrem Lebensraum sehr beschränkt und zum Teil vom Aussterben bedroht.
Mit unseren Bildern möchten wir die Schönheit und Ausdrucksstärke der Tiere in den Vordergrund stellen und zeigen, dass sich dahinter empfindsame Wesen verbergen. Unsere Mitgeschöpfe spüren Freude und Zuneigung ebenso wie Angst und Trauer. Wir lieben die Natur und möchten sie einfach schützen. Für uns sind unsere Bilder derzeit das wirksamste Mittel, um klar zumachen, wie wichtig Umweltschutz ist – jeder auch nur kleinste Beitrag kann das Überleben unserer phantastischen Mitgeschöpfe und unserer Umwelt sichern!
Mit jedem Bild verbinden wir zauberhafte als auch traurige Eindrücke. Alle Momente haben wir in unserem Herz gespeichert und die schönsten Momente sind die, die uns beim Nachdenken – für uns ganz alleine – ein Lächeln auf unser Gesicht zaubern :o).

We see photography as our contribution to presenting the beauty of nature – but from our point of view :o).
In doing so we have concentrated a lot of our efforts on fauna found in zoos, wildlife parks, aquaria and terraria. Our photography is primarily concerned with endangered species.
Flora and fauna has always interested us. Our love for animals has grown very much over the years through photography. Our favourite animals above all are simians, especially great apes, but also big cats. Unfortunately, many species are very limited in their habitat and in some cases are threatened by extinction, due to overexploitation and other environmental crimes.
With our pictures we want to bring the beauty and expressiveness of animals into the foreground, showing that sentient beings are hidden behind them. Our fellow creatures feel pleasure and affection as well as fear and sadness. We love nature and just want to protect them. For us, our photos are currently the most effective means to make it clear how important the environment is – every contribution, even the smallest, can ensure the survival of our fantastic fellow creatures and our environment!
We associate enchanting and also sad impressions with each image. We have stored all the moments in our heart, and the best moments are the ones that have brought a smile to our face while reflecting – just for us :o).
