The beauty of herons and egrets

Twelve images are dedicated to eight different herons and egrets in Florida. These photographs depict the herons and egrets in different life stages, environments, and situations. Over eight years, these wonderful birds on Florida's west coast were lovingly observed with great interest and respect. Observations of the little snowy egrets flying above the sea, or of the great blue herons and egrets in the water while kayaking, in the mangroves, on the pier, on the beach, at high tide and low tide, and nesting in the treetops—all these impressions are reflected in these photographs.
